This was actually one of the very first drawings in the book. I believe it was drawn on a random sheet of paper at a bar I used to frequent in Manhattan. It’s a neat little karaoke bar called Iggy’s. I spent more time there then I should have, honestly. I used to go when it was dead during the week and draw the bar flies. Then I’d go back during the weekend and drunkenly sing Janis Joplin songs. This was drawn around Christmas, hence the bells decorating the taps. Sometimes I kind of miss Iggy’s. I don’t miss the hangovers.
In keeping with the spirit of the season the drawing was pasted onto old christmas gift wrapping paper. I then finished out the edges with some of that sticker vinyl we have laying around the production studio.
