Artist, Activist, Educator, and Cat Lady
Currently I live and work in East Baton Rouge Parish as an arts educator and freelance artist. I spend my free time with family or working for the teachers union.
My goal as an artist and educator is to advocate for the arts in my community. I believe that art is integral to a well rounded education. Art helps kids build social and emotional well-being and allows them to develop problem solving skills that will aid them in school and in the real world.
This website functions as a professional portfolio for my work as both and artist and educator.
Currently I am working on a Masters in Art Education from the University of Florida. A section of this site is dedicated to the work I am doing in that program.
