Just to put them side by side. The featured (Top) image is the original Beardsley. The one below is my master copy. I wanted to see the two of them together. It will give me a better idea of what to work on. What he did right and what I need to strive to improve upon.
To be completely honest I did use a light table to map out the space before I started inking. And I’m fairly certain the pens he used where slightly harder to work with then the ones I used today. Even still I think his line work is better than mine!
