Hey Ya’ll!
I’m kicking off the New Year with a lot of productivity. I’m buckling down on myself and working on craft, technique and of coarse my portfolio needs some updating.
This is the first in a series in a personal project I’m doing. I’m studying different artists styles by drawing my favorite characters in their style. I did all seven of the Endless in the style of Aubrey Beardsley. I’m really liking what’s happening when I take this approach to my work. But for the sake of pushing myself for education and progress I will be trying something new after this.
I’m also going to be trying my hand at some digital painting again. It’s been a while and I think it’s time to push myself to really sit down and get a good grip on it. I did it in college but with a project due every week it was a little hard to really experiment as much as I wanted to. Now I can!
