I have a million old screen prints that I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with. That’s why this piece is dated 2012, but it’s actually from 2019. The original print was done in 2016, and I have about 100 more. When clearing out my studio I never want to throw art out, BUT, it’s not doing anyone any good sitting in a portfolio.

Chalk Art

I teach classes through Harlan School of Fine Art after school and in the summers. This year I got to teach Chalk Art!

It was SO much fun. I really enjoyed getting to learn a new craft and teaching my students how to do it.

We studied various chalk artists and looked at the New Haven Chalk Festival. We played around with opitical illusions, interactive chalk art and all the different chalk techniques.
