When I was in high school I worked with the Baton Rouge Little Theater. I painted backdrops for them. I thought that all the pictures had been lost over the years of the work I did. But ALAS I have found a folder which contains a few pictures of the first backdrop I ever did. I don’t remember what play it was for. The pictures where taken with my phone at the time. Long before the fancy phones we have now.
As you can tell from the pictures it was a HUGE project. But it came out ok and I continued to work with them throughout high school. These are the projects that really got me into doing murals. Once I did this I realized I could work on a larger scale. A much larger scale.
I also realized how fast I could pump out large scale work. I did this project in 3 days. I think the dimensions where something like 35 by 20. .
